Restricted parking surrounding the Workshop is available. Many areas in the South Melbourne shopping district are designated as paid parking using ticket machines.

By public transport
The Victorian Tapestry Workshop is only a short trip by tram from the city centre. Allow approximately 15 - 20 minutes.

Tram 1
Board the South Melbourne Beach tram on Swanston Street, and get off at Stop 24 (Cnr Clarendon and Park Streets).

Tram 112
 Board the St Kilda Beach tram on Collins Street and get off at Stop 129 (Cnr Clarendon and Park Streets).
