For those interested in learning the fine techniques of tapestry weaving.

Students will explore colour, texture and learn about the history of this unique art form. Classes are run in collaboration with the Council for Adult Education (CAE).

About Cheryl Thornton
Cheryl is an experienced tapestry weaver and teacher. She is a senior weaver at the Australian Tapestry Workshop and has worked on many major tapestries woven at the workshop including the Jorn Utzon tapestry for the Sydney Opera House and the Roger Kemp tapestries for the Great Hall, National Gallery of Victoria. Cheryl also has an established studio practice.
